I have a passion for words and people. Good communication is something I strongly believe in. 17 years experience, working in both the private and public sector, has enabled me and the organisations I have worked for achieve success.

Working face-to-face or with ‘virtual teams’, I enjoy developing and delivering successful communications. On a global and local basis, I have enabled a number of companies communicate their strategic direction, values and visions to their people and clients.

I will roll up my sleeves and take on any aspect of the job to get it done on time and to budget, without compromising quality.

I have worked in a variety of industries ranging from large international companies such as, Atos Origin, IBM, Sema, and SchlumbergerSema, to the Department of Health HQ, Whitehall and Employment Service within the Public Sector and the Nuffield Foundation (Charitable organisation).

Working with big and small budgets, I have managed in-house teams and external agencies. The production of magazines, news sites, and bulletins with me acting as the - researcher, interviewer, writer, editor, proof-reader, managing editor, photographer, design co-ordinator, and delivery to audiences ranging from 2,000 to over 30,000 people, – has given me a great grounding for good time management!

My experience of working with global organisations has enabled me to meet and work with people from across Europe and the US .

About me

Educated at Cardiff University , I currently live in Sheffield , - a vibrant, cultured city. I read anything and everything I can. I keep fit by hiking in the Peak District (glorious countryside on Sheffield ’s door step) and going to the Gym. Travel, anywhere as long as it is rich in culture and steeped in history. I hate cooking …but appreciate good cuisine!
